Parent Association

The PCW Parent Association work hard to encourage social interaction among parents so that they develop a sense of belonging to the school community. All parents are invited to be a part of the association and come along to monthly meetings or be involved with activities. All meetings will be advertised in The Lantern – College E-Newsletter and dates are also available on the school calendar, issued to all families and published below.

Once a month the Parent Association meets, during term time, to plan and coordinate their involvement in school events along with hearing from the Principal and other members of the Leadership Team and Faculty Heads.  This unique interaction between the Leadership, Staff and Parents is an opportunity to hear first hand about developments around PCW and to provide timely feedback to the school from parents.

Each year a committee is elected along with volunteer Year Level Representatives.  The association is actively involved in school events such as Year 7 First Day Welcome Morning Tea, Year 7 Information Night & BBQ, Parents Mid Year Function, Art Show, Year 12 Breakfast, Staff Morning Tea, Xmas Carols along with other projects as they arise. 

Our PA Year Level Reps will want to advise parents from their year level of upcoming events, along with any additional year level activities such as coffee mornings, as they arise.  These are good opportunities to get together and make connections with parents from your daughter’s year level.

Canteen

Students are able to purchase lunch at the Canteen. We would be glad to hear from any parents who are able to help and are willing to be rostered once or twice per term.
