Presentation College Windsor students are inspired by our talented teachers of Art, Studio Arts and Visual Communication Design.  Teachers are able to motive and engage students, enabling them to creatively produce outstanding work which is showcased in our annual School Art Show. Art links to our School Community are forged through our mini Archibald Portrait Exhibition in our new Art Gallery space and the Sister Raymonde Art Acquisitions. Our entries to the Catholic Education Week Art Show and Silk Cut Lino Printing Exhibition regularly attract attention and commendation.

From Year 7 to Year 12, a variety of Art forms is explored including Digital Art Making, Printmaking, Ceramics, Video, Painting, Sculpture Photography, Drawing and installation Art.

An integral part of student learning is exposure to Melbourne’s diverse Art scene, to view and analyse work in galleries and other locations. Senior Students travel to Sydney for the Sydney Biennale, and in alternate years, to Hobart, to experience MONA.

Through our partnership with Monash University, Year 12 students curate and exhibit their work at MUMA—an exciting opportunity to see their work in a professional gallery. We have also celebrated the selection of student work for Top Arts.

Our Artist in Residence Program, known to host internationally recognised artists, provides a valuable opportunity for students to engage with an artist at first hand.
